It’s always exciting when a new Pokemon game is coming out. The childlike wonder of the original games comes back, even for the slightest moment. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet show off a new region, starters, legendary monsters, and of course Lechonk. The 9th generation of Pokémon has two new professors in Sada (Scarlet) and Turo (Violet). The three new starters, pictured above, are Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. As for the two legendary monsters shown in the trailer, they’re Koraidon (Scarlet) and Miraidon (Violet).

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is the first game in the series that has 4-player co-op where all four players can be in the same game going around capturing Pokémon and battling. Finally, the release date for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is November 12th, 2022. They release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
