You know the rallying cry “Eat the rich”? Well, they might really be on The Menu in Searchlight Pictures’ latest film.

The movie follows a couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) as they travel to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu. But there’s something sinister about the whole affair – and shocking surprises await the wealthy clientele.

Check out the official trailer for The Menu below.

A simple “Yes, Chef!” has never seemed more ominous. But at the same time, The Menu doesn’t look like a straight thriller – the darkness that seems to lurk beneath the surface comes alongside a very tongue-in-cheek type of comedy. Hopefully, this menu strikes the right balance.

The Menu comes from writers Seth Reiss and Will Tracy. Prolific TV director Mark Mylod (Succession, Game of Thrones, Shameless) directs. In addition to Taylor-Joy, Hoult, and Fiennes, the film also stars John Leguizamo, Judith Light, and Hong Chau.

The Menu will premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival soon. It will release nationwide in theaters November 18.
