The success of the Sonic the Hedgehog films is quite simply amazing. All the more so precisely because they’re video game movies, which don’t tend to do all that well. However, the first film in 2020 and the second in 2022 both defied those low expectations and received pretty positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. It really shows that Jeff Fowler is doing something good with the Sonic films he’s directing, including this latest and upcoming film.
It’s why Paramount Pictures and Sega Sammy Group are so eager to hype up this latest film. So eager that they have a massive campaign going on right now just to tease the soon-to-be-released first official trailer for it. Don’t believe me? Then let’s find out more about that campaign below, shall we?
Sonic the Hedgehog 3: Trailer Campaign Details
Just a logo for the film…for now.
Paramount Pictures and Sega Sammy Group are proud to show off…not the trailer for Sonic3, alas. That trailer isn’t quite ready yet as of this writing. However, what is ready is their campaign to hype up the impending release of that trailer. A massive campaign that spans the globe, mind you. One that results in a large number of famous buildings around the world getting a Sonic character projected onto their sides. In fact, you can check out the full list of those photos below, and take in the sight of Sonic’s face plastered onto all of them:
