The holidays have officially arrived at the Disneyland Resort, and this year is bigger than ever! Why? Part of the festive season overlaps with Disneyland’s historic 70th anniversary celebration.
In an exclusive THS interview, I caught up with several Disneyland Resort spokespeople, designers, and chefs to get an inside look at the new holiday merchandise, limited-time treats, and unforgettable experiences available now through January 7, 2026.
DISNEYLAND HOLIDAY 70TH ANNIVERSARY MERCHANDISE
Disneyland spokesperson Juan kicked off the conversation by highlighting just how special this year truly is. As holiday music fills the air and the winter chill settles in, guests can not only enjoy beloved seasonal traditions but also immerse themselves in rare 70th anniversary offerings.
From cozy apparel made for family photos to the wildly popular Abominable Snowman sipper, there’s no shortage of magical souvenirs. Juan also revealed a brand-new standout collectible: the gold-trimmed Disneyland Key Pin, part of a refreshed anniversary pin line perfect for collectors.
HOLIDAY MERCHANDISE
Ariel, another Disneyland Resort representative, walked us through the highly anticipated 2025 Holiday Merchandise Collection. I’m obsessed.
Highlights of the collection include limited-release “Build Your Own Ears,” plaid Minnie ears with pearl detailing, matching Loungefly backpacks, and a comically oversized Santa tote bag. This year’s designs focus on nostalgia with a strong 90s-inspired aesthetic—something longtime fans will instantly recognize. It reminds me of 1990s Macys! IYKYK. There are options for kids, adults, and even grandparents. This season, the merchandise team aims to create items that spark memories of Main Street, U.S.A., hot cocoa, and glowing Christmas lights.
FESTIVAL OF HOLIDAYS FOOD AND MORE!
Of course, no Disneyland holiday season is complete without food. Chefs Manny and Gracie offered a mouthwatering preview of the Resort’s 240 seasonal dishes, including 90 brand-new creations.
Returning favorites like the Snickerdoodle Cold Brew and Mickey caramel apples sit alongside innovative additions such as the al pastor mac and cheese, holiday mash bowls, shrimp tacos, and beautifully crafted pastries. Guests can also explore offerings across Disney California Adventure’s Festival of Holidays using the popular Sip & Savor Pass.
With limited-time merch, exclusive collectibles, and festive food spanning from classic to cultural, Disneyland Resort’s 2025 holiday season is packed with can’t-miss magic. Whether you’re a foodie, a pin collector, or simply visiting for the holiday nostalgia, now is the time to experience the magic happening through January 7, 2026.
