Marvel has been awfully quiet about the rumoured trailer for Avengers: Doomsday. The lack of any confirmation suddenly makes a lot more sense. A new report suggests there is not just one teaser for Avengers: Doomsday, but four. Disney and Marvel Studios appear to be staggering trailers and building anticipation instead of blowing it all at once, and honestly, it is a smart move.

Avengers: Doomsday Teaser Rollout

According to The Hollywood Reporter, four different teaser trailers have been created. The plan is a staggered theatrical rollout rather than a single online drop. The first teaser is set to debut next Friday alongside Avatar: Fire and Ash. After that, Marvel will rotate in a new teaser every Friday.

The second teaser is expected around Christmas Day, the third around New Year’s Day, and the fourth the following week. Each swap keeps the conversation alive and gives moviegoers a reason to re-watch Avatar: Fire and Ash.

This approach also explains why there has been almost no noise about an online release. Even if a teaser does land on the internet, it will likely be only the first one; and most likely in the new year. Perhaps even at the Super Bowl in February.

Why Marvel Is Holding Back

Multiple sources have already indicated the teaser will not hit online before Avatar: Fire and Ash opens in theatres next Thursday night. Marvel and Disney are clearly tying their biggest ovie of 2026 to biggest release of 2025. It’s strategic, controlled, and very deliberate.

As of now, Marvel and Disney have offered no official comment on the rollout. They likely want the reveal to speak for itself, one piece at a time; and through word of mouth. If this plan holds, expect speculation to snowball fast through social media and for theatres to benefit from it.
