Calling all botany and Funko fans! Your time to shine has come with this exciting announcement. With spring still around the corner and the trees (in much of the Northern Hemisphere) still decidedly bare, we need all of the green plant life we can get, even if it isn’t real.

Today, Funko announced that they will be launching a line of POP! Mystery vinyl figures, a new surprise and delight series which will debut with a new POP! Mystery Flora range. This new line is aimed at fueling excitement across collectors worldwide, hopping on the back of the current blind box craze that has left consumers in a frenzy for more. Launching in summer, each POP! Mystery Flora vinyl figure is concealed in new blind packaging, meaning that fans are left in excitement as to which POP! Mystery Flora they will receive.

The new POP! Mystery Flora range includes six exotic collectible plants including POP! Bamboo, POP! Ivy, POP! Tiger Lily, POP! Snake Plant, POP! Tulip and POP! Monstera. Alongside the core POP! Mystery assortment, fans will have the chance to unbox new POP! cards to collect alongside the new POP! vinyl figures. The Funko POP! Mystery Flora range will also contain a chase POP! Cactus, limited-edition POP! Sunflower and the one of one worldwide chase POP! Snake Plant metallic figure.

“POP! Mystery turns every unboxing into a moment of surprise and fun,” said Andy Oddie, Chief Commercial Officer at Funko. “With rare chase figures, limited edition POP!, and a thrilling range of collectible POP!, collectors will love discovering which POP! Flora they find next with this new unboxing experience for Funko.”

The POP! Mystery Flora range is the first of many forthcoming releases for Funko’s new POP! Mystery line and is designed to create an exciting surprise and delight moment for consumers while staying true to Funko’s instantly recognisable POP! design and style.

These new figures are also perfect for those of us who have less of a green thumb and more of a…shriveled, dead thumb. There’s a reason I have air plants. I need that Monstera plant immediately, if only because I know neither of my cats will try to eat it.
