He has the power! The first trailer for the live-action “Masters of the Universe” has been released! Hailing from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Studios, Based on the classic ’80s toy brand, the film is scheduled to be released on June 5th, 2026. Check out the trailer below!
The trailer showcases Nicholas Galitzine as Adam Glenn/Prince Adam/He-Man not doing much at his office job. That all changes when someone finds his sword, signaling that things are about to change for both Earth and Eternia. We get a glimpse of many of the characters including Teela, played by Camila Mendes, Duncan/Man-At-Arms, played by Idris Elba, the fan-favorite Battle Cat, and the evil Skeletor, played by Jared Leto, among others.
My favorite part of course was the iconic transformation. This is Mattel’s next feature film since the global success of “Barbie”.

In ‘Masters of the Universe’, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia. There he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto).
