Khleo Thomas is known for his role as Zero in the classic Disney movie, Holes. However, he’s been busy in the time since that movie, creating an empire of content creation, collecting retro video games, and working in other films and TV. He sat down with our friend Brandon Davis on the Main Character episode of his show The Brandon Davis Show to talk about his upcoming projects and career. Khleo talked big about a prospective chance at a DC role that he auditioned for.

“I ever tell you about the story with Beast Boy? I had auditioned for the Teen Titans series that came out. 

I had the Titan series, and I recall that the call I came in to check my availability in order to book the role for Beast Boy. The problem was, I had just did the thing to get my passport renewed, so I didn’t have my passport, and they needed to get me to Canada immediately. I told the representation, whatever you do, do not tell them I don’t have my passport! I will go to the office tomorrow morning and have them book a flight in the afternoon. I will have my passport in the morning. Made a few phone calls, confirmed, ‘Your passport will be here at 9am.’ Woke up the next morning. Moved on.”

Now that’s a horrible way to miss out on a role, but he was lighthearted about the near-miss.

He concluded with a joke: “My ears are already built for it! You don’t need prosthetics. That’s locked up!”

Now, he wants to play Jetstream for Marvel or Booster Gold for DC.
