Fans of Pokémon would certainly understand the appeal of the Pokémon Room. After all. it’s not every day that you can stay in a completely Pokémon-themed hotel room, with emphasis on “completely”. Each of these hotel rooms features a total of 100 different Pokémon integrated into them. Some of them are big and obvious like a Snorlax plushie on your bed, various food-themed Pokémon printed on the walls of your kitchen, Water-type Pokémon adorning the walls of your bathroom, and unnumerable numbers of Pokémon on the walls and ceiling. Other Pokémon are a bit more hidden like the Pokémon footprint patterns on the carpet and other Pokémon hidden away in various nooks and crannies. All in all, it’s a Pokémon experience for the entire family. And as of now, it’s getting bigger.
MIMARU, operated by Cosmos Hotel Management Co., Ltd., is proud to announce a renovation and expansion of its Pokémon Room hotel chain. That expansion means that Pokémon-themed hotel rooms are now available 10 MIMARU properties across Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. Not only that, but staying at these hotels nets you “special-edition MIMARU-original merchandise, such as themed fabric bags and collectible items” as collectible souvenirs.
You can book stays at these Pokémon Rooms directly from MIMARU. In fact, you can check out what those rooms and the merch look like below:

Pokémon Room Offers Luxurious Pokémon-Themed Hotel Experience, But Only in Japan

On one hand, the Pokémon Room hotels look absolutely amazing. They look positively delightful, and a treat for any Pokémon fan to stay in. Whether you’re a kid becoming a fan of Pokémon for the first time or an adult looking to relive memories of Pokémon days, there’s something in these hotels for everyone.
On the other hand, these Pokémon Room hotels are available in Japan only. There are no plans for an international expansion in the announcement. Alas, that means that if you wish to experience this, you’re going to have to save up money for a trip to Japan. We’ll have to wait for word from MIMARU on that in the future.
