The Predator franchise has had a very long and storied history as a science fiction action horror anthology. All of it centered around an entire alien race of hunters, who infamously take some grisly trophies from their prey in spectacularly brutal fashion. With that prey including humans, of course, and the stronger the better. All of which creates a very powerful and dangerous foe for our hero to slay, of course. It’s that time old formula that has consistently resulted in the franchise being wildly successful, but it also gets a bit stale after a while. People want something different. Something new, something engaging. Something like perhaps…a team-up?

Hulu is proud to announce that they will soon start streaming the seventh mainline Predator film: Predator: Badlands. As part of that announcement, they have a brand new trailer for us that also reveals we’ll be able to watch this latest Predator film on February 12, 2026. In addition to that, they also announce that a series of 15 short videos has been added to the Predator Creators Collection by pocket.watch creator-led video collection. These shorts are available to watch on Disney+ and Hulu, as the film will be.

Now as for that trailer? Well, you can watch it either on YouTube, or just look below:

The runt of a Yautja clan is still pretty big.

A bit unprecedented, but that might be a good thing here.

Honestly, Predator: Badlands looks like it could be a most interesting story to tell. After all, all of the previous Predator films have all featured the eponymous alien hunters as scary horror movie monsters. This one actually delves into the culture of the Yautja, and gives us a look at what they do to members of their own race that don’t quite fit in. It gives us a Predator protagonist for the first time, as well as a team-up with a human to boot. How will they fare in a joint hunt of some very dangerous game? Well, we’ll have to see on Hulu when that film starts streaming there.
