Jason Momoa Is Ready To Protect Super Earth – And Democracy!

Clear your calendar for November 10, 2027, soldiers! As reported by Deadline, Sony and Playstation Productions’ Helldivers flick will be storming into theaters that very day. The project now boasts Fast X star Jason Momoa, presumably as the starring talent for this ambitious project.

For the uninitiated, the basically plays like Starship Troopers. With you and your fellow Helldivers spreading democracy in the name of Super Earth, the galaxy is your battlefield – and things can get pretty rough. Take a look for yourself with this trailer for Helldivers II’s latest update:

While this all sounds awesome, there’s another Sony project that might need to be re-evaluated in the near future. Seeing as Helldivers is partially a darkly comic satire similar to that very Sony legacy franchise, one has to wonder if Neill Blomkamp’s developing Starship Troopers reboot will be adjusting to make way on the playing field?

Helldivers’ November 10, 2027 release date; which is relatively sooner than Jason Momoa’s return to the Fast Saga as Dante Reyes. The newly renamed Fast Forever, aka Fast X: Part 2, is looking to pull into a garage near you on March 17, 2028. Of course, to keep track of either of these projects, you’ll need to keep a browser tab tuned to THS’ Movie News archives; now with 100% less Helldiver recruitment ads! (For now.)
