The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants initially made its debut in theaters on December 19, 2025 to resounding success. Critics and audiences alike loved the new swashbuckling adventures of SpongeBob (voiced as always by Tom Kenny) and his friends in this new film from director Derek Drymon and writers Pam Brady and Matt Lieberman. Alas, quite a few of you might not have seen it in theaters. Maybe you were too busy to head to theaters in person?
