The Beginning After the End looks like your stereotypical Japanese isekai anime about an overpowered male protagonist gaining far too many female love interests in a generic fantasy world. In fact, this particular isekai anime is exactly that, but the kicker is that it’s not Japanese. The anime is based off of an American webnovel series by writer TurtleMe, with Fuyuki23 as the artist. Fuyuki23 would later go on to make a webtoon adaptation on Tapas, and that led to Studio A-CAT (Transformers: Energon, She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man, HIGHSPEED Étoile) beginning the first season of the anime on April 2, 2025.
That anime adaptation has seen a…negative response. In fact, 40,000 fans of the original story signed a petition demanding that the first season be redone due to the low quality of its action sequences, consisting mostly of still image after still image interspersed with a bunch of voice lines. Well, maybe they might do better with this upcoming second season.
Crunchyroll is proud to announce that they are hyping up The Beginning After the End Season 2 with a new trailer and teaser visual. Said trailer also reveals that this second season will make its debut on April 1, 2026. Exclusively on Crunchyroll, of course, just like the first season. As for that trailer? Well, you can watch it either on YouTube, or just look below for that and the new visual:
The Beginning After the End Season 2 Soon Debuting on April 1, 2026

Honestly, after how the first season did, I think most people would be…skeptical of this upcoming second season of The Beginning After the End. The trailer seems to show off a fairly high quality anime. However, it’s also easy to cherry-pick your best work to put into the trailer, so that doesn’t tell us much. Honestly, all we can do is hope that Studio A-CAT redeem themselves after the fairly disastrous first season. Hopefully.
What do you all think? Are you all hopeful that this upcoming second season of The Beginning After the End will do well? Tell us your stereotypical isekai thoughts in the comment section below.
