Almost a decade has passed between the release of A Quiet Place Part II and the intended release date of its sequel. Despite Paramount franchise dropping the 2024 prequel A Quiet Place: Day One, you’d be forgiven for worrying whether the next chapter was still happening. Don’t worry: John Krasinski himself has confirmed that A Quiet Place Part III is still on the books; and with a fitting trio of newcomers ready to push this terrifying story forward.
As Krasinski steps behind the camera again, the series’ director hammered in a July 30, 2027 release date for Part III’s big debut. What’s more, the same Twitter post that delivered that news showed off a hell of a flex in the casting department, as you’ll see below:
Obviously the Abbott family at the heart of A Quiet Place’s story will be back through Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds’ returns. Though frankly, it’d be shocking to not see them; alongside A Quiet Place Part II’s Cillian Murphy. Again, that cliffhanger was so frustratingly huge its continued mystery has felt uncomfortably prolonged. At the same time, A Quiet Place Part III has some rather promising new faces to keep things fresh!
A Quiet Place Part III Will Introduce A Trio Of A+ Cast Members To The Death Angels
Just as there’s plenty of Death Angels running rampant on A Quiet Place’s Earth, there’s plenty of people looking to take the planet back for humanity. Which leads us to the fresh meat enlisted to do those duties: Sinners’ Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke (fresh off of The Last Frontier), and The Running Man star Katy O’Brian certainly addresses that matter.
Clearly there’s no character names or details available on those stark looking title pages; but the fact that the colloquially named “III” is still on the way is probably enough excitement to kick off this fresh hype cycle. I feel that new wave of excitement, because if I was to make a list of actors I’m always excited to see appear in an all-star cast, O’Connell, Clarke, and O’Brian are all solid entries upon it.
A Quiet Place Part III will try and keep things to a dull roar, only in theaters, on July 30, 2027. And whether you’re a long suffering fan looking to get back into this universe, or a newcomer who has somehow escaped these pictures previously, all three previous entries are streaming with a Paramount+ subscription.
