“DRAGN” is now available on VOD from Cineverse. The film follows a classic horror movie story with a modern twist. The twist in this case is that its not a deranged or supernatural killer. Rather an A.I. driven drone that has now human emotions and find itself on a path of destruction. Now a group on a team building retreat in the forest must do whatever they can to survive as they are being hunted by this rouge drone.
A CHAT WITH JAMES PAXTON AND PETER WEBBER
With the release of “DRAGN” on VOD, I spoke with star James Paxton and director Peter Webber. In our conversation we chatted about the simplicity of the film that pays homage to so many horror movies of the past. Along with why the horror genre is so forgiving when it comes to these films still finding an audience. We also chat about the the design of the drone and what it was like to work with it practically. It was a great conversation that you can check out below!
ABOUT “DRAGN”
“DRAGN” centers on a group of co-workers on a routine corporate team-building trip, which transforms into a nightmare when they unwittingly become the prey of a rogue AI-driven drone. The film delves into the fragility of the human mind, the dangers of AI warfare, and the indomitable spirit required to confront terror in an increasingly digital world.
Along with Paxton, the film stars Lilly Krug, Carlos Bardem, Alice Pagani, Jadran Malkovic, Franz Drameh, and Alex Lane.
