Superman fans of all ages will soon be become a hero alongside the Man of Steel on a mission to defend Metropolis with the new attraction at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, “Superman Experience: Defenders Unite”. It combines first-person immersive gameplay, 3D video and sound with real-life sets and audio-animatronic technology. The attraction opens on April 18th on Superman Day.

This is a brand-new walkthrough and live gameplay attraction located at Stage 5. Guests will be able to hone their superpowers and work as a team. As well as enjoy the illusion of flying alongside Superman through next-generation motion capture technology, active 3D glasses, and high-definition audio. ABOUT THE “SUPERMAN EXPERIENCE; DEFENDERS UNITE” STORY

“Superman Experience: Defenders Unite” features an original storyline created exclusively for the attraction. This brings guests closer than ever before into the growing world inspired by James Gunn’s 2025 feature film, “Superman”. Travel into the Fortress of Solitude, where you can be recruited by Superman for a critical mission. After being granted Kryptonian powers, travel with Superman to various locations. Including a training session with Krypto at the Kent Farm. Then the fate of our planet will be up to you and your team as you battle the DC Super-Villain, Darkseid.

Don’t slack off! Throughout the experience, guests will have their scores logged and displayed in real-time for some friendly competition. The experience’s central hub, focused on the Fortress of Solitude, will feature interactive mini games, unique props, and photo opportunities.

These include a life-sized audio animatronic Gary (Robot #4), Superman’s Kryptonian robot companion. A Doghouse of Solitude mini game where fans can play catch with Krypto. As well as a two-player puzzle game where guests can activate the Phantom Zone Projector. As guests complete the activities listed above, along with more activities yet to be revealed, the Chaos Crystal on display will activate the entire Fortress of Solitude.

There will also be themed beverages and snacks at the Fortress of Solitude lounge. As well as exclusive merchandise within a new Daily Planet-themed retail store. A new comic book will be available to buy exclusive to “Superman Experience: Defenders Unite”, written by Josh Trujillo with cover art by Bernard Chang.

Its important to note that this attraction requires a SEPERATE TICKET from Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. It can be sold as an add-on to the studio tour.
