The theatrical debut of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe is only a month away now as of this writing. In fact, it’s all set to make that U.S. theatrical debut on May 15, 2026. With that debut being so close, it’s only natural that the hype would be growing for this upcoming Gundam anime film. With Bandai Namco very eager to fan the flames of hype here, and what better way to do that than to give us a new trailer?

Bandai Namco Filmworks is proud to hype up Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe with a brand new official trailer. With said trailer focusing on the military aspects of the anime film. It’s quite fitting, since Gundam has always been at its heart a military sci-fi story. You can watch that trailer either on YouTube, or just look below:

Not only that, but it’s a modern military aesthetic to boot.

I see the sea themes will play an important part here.

This particular official trailer is very interesting in terms of what it chooses to focus on. Namely: this trailer goes all-in on the military sci-fi aspects of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe. Yes, there is some attention they give to the romantic thriller aspects of the anime film when they question the true intentions of Gigi Andalusia (voiced by Reina Ueda (JP) and Megan Shipman (EN)). However, the vast majority of this trailer is all about the hyper-modern military sci-fi thriller starring Hathaway Noa (voiced by Kensho Ono (JP) and Caleb Yen (EN)) himself. With things like heads-up displays in the cockpit that call to mind modern fighter jets, it’s not hard to see this as the modern military Gundam. And based on how well-received the first film was, you can bet that this looks to be a most satisfying sequel.
