Hoppers has tickets for sale and there’s a new clip to celebrate! Pixar and Disney welcome viewers into the animal kingdom. Hoppers burrows into theaters on March 6. Special early access screenings begin on February 28. The movie releases in IMAX, RealD 3D, Cinemark XD, Dolby Cinema, 4DX. Check out the new clip up above!
Piper Curda’s Mabel is our gateway to this story. Hoppers is concerned with nature and how we decide to live alongside animals as human. Empire Magazine asked director Daniel Chong about his main character, and the concept of nature kept coming up.
“Mabel is this woman who loves nature, loves animals, and she desperately wants to protect them,” Chong smirked. “There’s a specific place in the movie, a glade, that she cares a lot about, so the movie is really about her trying to protect this natural space. She loves nature, but she is also chaotic energy herself. She has wildness in her.”

Here’s what Disney has to say about the new movie! “In Disney and Pixar’s Hoppers, animal lover Mabel (voice of Piper Curda) seizes an opportunity to use a new technology to ‘hop’ her consciousness into a life-like robotic beaver and communicate directly with animals. As she uncovers mysteries in the animal world beyond anything she could have imagined, Mabel befriends charismatic beaver King George (voice of Bobby Moynihan) and must rally the entire animal kingdom to face a major, imminent human-threat: smooth-talking local mayor Jerry Generazzo (voice of Jon Hamm).
“The all-star voice ensemble also features Meryl Streep, Dave Franco and Kathy Najimy. Hoppers is directed by Daniel Chong (We Bare Bears) and produced by Nicole Paradis Grindle (Incredibles 2), with an original score by Mark Mothersbaugh.”
