Devil May Cry Season 2 Gets New Teaser Trailer Ahead of May 12 Debut

As you might be able to tell: Netflix are going all out on making this second season of Devil May Cry the brotherly fight of love/hate. Oh, the conflict itself is perfectly canon to Capcom’s video game franchise. After all, Dante and Vergil fighting each other is central to several games in the series, including in the latest Devil May Cry 5.
The big difference here is the exact details of why the brothers are fighting. After all, the first season made it abundantly clear that Adi Shankar is going with his own original story for Devil May Cry, rather than following the plot of any one game (or really, any of the games) in particular. On one hand, it gives him a whole lot of freedom in creating the story. On the other hand, fans of the game canon will be a bit put off by the lack of canon adherence. Honestly, it’s really up to you to decide if the story is any good on May 12.
