Signature weapons are a thing for many main characters, and Dante from Devil May Cry is no different. In his case, it’s a pair of custom-made semi-automatic pistols made specifically to harness his demonic power: Ebony and Ivory. One is tuned for long range and precision, and the other is tuned for rapid fire. They’re so iconic to Dante that him showing up without them looks a bit odd. Like he’s missing his arms, or something of the sort. Alas, those pistols aren’t present in the first season of Netflix’s animated adaptation of the video game franchise. However, it looks like that will change in the upcoming second season.

Netflix is proud to give us a sneak peek of Devil May Cry Season 2 that finally gives Dante his iconic pistols Ebony and Ivory. That sneak peek also shows off some impressive gun fu on Dante’s part, with him just simply showing off for everyone in the room as you would expect out of him. You can watch that sneak peek either on YouTube, or just look below:

New Devil May Cry S2 Sneak Peek Finally Gives Dante Ebony and Ivory

It’s been a long time coming, but here they are.

To be honest, it’s about time that Dante got his signature pistols. Ebony and Ivory were noticeably absent in the first season of Netflix’s Devil May Cry adaptation, so it’s great to finally see them here for the second season. All with Dante giving us a stylish demonstration of his gun fu skills to boot. It’s a performance worthy of a Matrix scene, and likely a taste of what we’ll get in that upcoming second season when it makes its Netflix debut on May 12, 2026. Here’s hoping we get more of that when we see it.
