Dorohedoro is all set to get the long-awaited second season of the anime from studio MAPPA (Zombie Land Saga, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man). It’s not hard to see why either. Both the first season that aired in 2020 and the manga it was adapted by Q Hayashida from received quite a bit of praise from critics and audiences alike for its weird but goofy storyline combined with the surreal, hyper-violent scenes. It may not be the anime for everyone, but the people it does hook stayed very much hooked. It’s why everyone has been looking forward to a second season. It’s also thus why we’re getting this story to hype things up.
TOHO is proud to announce the long-awaited second season of Dorohedoro with a brand new official trailer. Said trailer also reveals that we’re going to get to see this second season on April 1, 2026; with that second season streaming on Crunchyroll, Netflix, and ADN according to the official website. Now as for that official trailer? Well, you can watch it either on YouTube, or just look below:
Dorohedoro Season 2 Soon Premiering at Last on April 1, 2026

Rejoice, all you fans of Dorohedoro! For the adventures of Caiman and Nikaido are all set to continue soon. It’s about time too, since the first season ended its run all the way back in March 30, 2020. A six year wait for a new season isn’t quite the longest wait between seasons in history, but it’s getting up there. And this is on top of this second season originally having a scheduled release window of 2025, but that got pushed back for some reason. Fortunately, the wait is over come April 1. Now let us all hope that there isn’t another delay.
What do you all think? Are you eager to finally see the next season of Dorohedoro at long last? Tell us your violently wacky thoughts in the comment section below.
