It really has been 10 whole years since My Hero Academia first starting airing on April 3, 2016; didn’t it? It has even gotten a magnificent run to boot. This anime adaptation of the manga of the same name by Kōhei Horikoshi had a run of 170 episodes (plus 10 OVAs) spanning 8 seasons. I don’t know about you, but that’s an impressive run for a single anime series. And now, we’re about to get a celebration of a decade of superheroes, with a bonus to go with it.
Toho Co., Ltd. is proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of My Hero Academia with a free streaming marathon and even a bonus episode. The marathon will cover the first 3 seasons of the anime, and will be completely free to stream globally on Crunchyroll. With subtitle options in English, French, Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain), German, Portuguese, and Italian to boot. Each season will be available to stream for a month at a time to give people the opportunity to actually watch the seasons. You can see exactly when each season will be available for free streaming below:

My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary Celebration Giving Us Free Seasons and Bonus Episode
Honestly, this is quite the treat to get for My Hero Academia‘s 10th anniversary. Especially that bonus epilogue episode, which will be an extra-tasty treat for fans of the manga. The streaming of the first few seasons for free is also nice, but it’s also only for a month each…and in sequential order to boot. Honestly, I feel like it would be better to just make the entirety of those first three seasons available for free streaming for three months to maximize the amount of time for people to actually watch them. Still, at least we are getting them for free, even on that kind of restricted schedule.
For additional details as they come up, you can catch them on the My Hero Academia 10th anniversary’s official website.
