As My Hero Academia comes to a close with its eighth and final season, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is poised to give us more of Kōhei Horikoshi‘s world in anime form. Indeed, this spin-off/prequel to the main anime series will focus on a darker and seedier side of that superhero world in its upcoming second season. All that’s left to do is to wait for that second season to stream on Crunchyroll. Fortunately, we now know when exactly that will be.

Crunchyroll is proud to announce the premiere date for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 via a new official main trailer. The trailer reveals that this spin-off/prequel to My Hero Academia will make its streaming debut on January 5, 2026. As you might imagine, it will be a Crunchyroll exclusive when it streams worldwide, all save for Asia, minus the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia due to Medialink streaming there. As for the trailer, you can watch it either on YouTube or just look below:

In addition, Crunchyroll is also revealing just who will be singing the theme songs for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2. The opening theme song will be “CATCH!!!” by THREEE. Meanwhile, “Miss you.” by shytaupe will be the ending theme song for the same.
