Supergirl’s new trailer here and the clip gives a better idea of where Milly Alcock’s Kara Zor-El is coming from. Craig Gillespie’s film sees Supergirl despondent and on a journey to find herself. That isn’t completely surprising as the movie loosely adapts Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Being that that’s the case, our girl is going through it. It feels like the only constant she has in your life is the bond she shares with Crypto the Super dog.
However, her status quo gets thrown on its head when visiting an alien planet. A group of mercenary thugs put her dog in jeopardy. Now, Kara has to work together with a young woman who’s also got an axe to grind with these people too. But, is vengeance really going to be the balm that eases these women’ s pain? Probably not!
Jason Momoa’s Lobo is a riot here as well. He struts through each action set piece looking like he’s having the time of his life. And, to be fair, he probably is! Check out Supergirl and her new friend throwing down up above.
