The people behind Ghosts In The Fog, Womp Stomp Films, the new animated fan film are well known to those in the fandom for all things Friday the 13th. They’ve put out Never Hike Alone and this new 10-minute animated fan film is a prequel to that awesome film. The story follows three friends – Lana, Brandon, and Dom — whose quiet weekend camping trip takes a dark turn when they become lost in a mysterious fog.
Wandering aimlessly, they mistakenly enter Camp Crystal Lake and encounter the vengeful spirit of “Ghost Jason” Voorhees. As the fog and Jason close in, survival becomes their only goal. Will they escape Jason’s relentless pursuit, or join the long list of lost victims of the cursed camp?

The voice cast for Never Hike Alone: Ghosts In The Fog includes Chelsea Rebecca as Lana, Zoran Gvojic as Brandon, and Diego Valenzuela as Dom. The guest narrator is no stranger to F13 fans, it’s Thom Matthews, who played Tommy Doyle in Jason Lives.
They have a Kickstarter campaign going for fans to join in on and help get the film made and marketed. Here are some of the rewards for that campaign.
