Director Francis Galluppi is buliding out the cast of the newest Evil Dead film from New Line Cinema. it will follow up on the upcoming film Evil Dead Burn, which is out later this year in theaters. The news comes from Deadline and the cast includes Charlotte Hope, Jessica McNamee, Zach Gilford, Josh Helman, Ella Newton, Ella Oliphant, and Elizabeth Cullen.

The new film doesn’t have a title yet and the logline is even being held tight to the Necronomicon from the studio. Galluppi is directing the film from a script that he wrote. New Line Cinema and Sony Pictures are co-financing the film. The last Evil Dead film that came out in theaters, Evil Dead Rise, from Lee Cronin, made $147 million worldwide and was a critical hit for the studio.

Rob Tapert is producing alongside Sam Raimi, Romel Adam, Jose Canas, and Lee Cronin, with Bruce Campbell as well. The distribution rights are spread across various studios like New Line Cinema, Sony, StudioCanal, Metropolitan Filmexport, and others.

Evil Dead Burn is coming from director Sebastien Vanicek later this year.

The new cast includes Charlotte Hope, who is known for roles in The Nun, Allied, The Spanish Princess, Catch Me A Killer, and Game of Thrones. McNamee plays Sonya Blade in the Mortal Kombat film franchise, which has a second film coming out later this year as well. Gilford has been in films like The Purge: Anarchy, Criminal Minds: Evolution, Midnight Mass, and The Fall Of The House Of Usher.
