You might know Khleo Thomas from his role in the classic Disney film, Holes. Well, he’s a man of many talents, not just playing Zero in that film. He sat down with our friend Brandon Davis for his podcast, The Brandon Davis Show, for his Main Character episode of the week. He talked all things about his life, including an extensive video game collection, and some projects on the horizon. Here’s what he had to say about the project.
“Khleo in this era of entertainment is already on that path of making his own series. I sat down. I had, conversation with a few writers and we have a pilot script ready to go. So, I will be filming that second quarter of 2026.”
“I’m really excited for it, bro, because I see the landscape changing as it always has and I’ve talked about it before. Is it on the shirt? It says ‘Stay on the hunt.’ But on the back of this it’s about adapting. You adapt or you perish and I know you recognize that phrase, of course, growing up watching WWE, with Evolution. It’s real like that for me and everything I’ve done in my career up to this point, it’s been about looking at the landscape and adapting.”
The landscape of film and TV is changing as we speak. More independent features are getting looks from audiences across the world. He also works with his family on Four Kontrollers, which has shown him how to relinquish directing from his own projects.
“You know what my answer to that is, no, I don’t think I feel that way because of, luckily, the training I’ve had with my family, with the Four Kontrollers being able to say, like, we’re all have different personalities. So, being able to do the shoots that we’ve done, the brand partnerships we’ve done. Baby Sis [Khaleea] is the youngest out of all of us and the best. My brother calls her the best of all of us. So, being able to see her strengths, see my baby brother Khameel’s strengths, see Khadeem‘s strengths and being able to navigate all that. I already come with that skill set, so I’m excited to be able to now do it with people who aren’t family. It’s like, hey, can we get to the end goal here?”
As for the story details, he’s keeping those pretty close to the chest for now.
