“Pig Hill” from Cineverse is debuting on Digital and Video on Demand on December 9. This horror feature film from director Kevin Lewis draws inspiration from a Pennsylvania urban legend involving pig people creatures and the mysterious disappearance of local women.

TALKING “PIG HILL” WITH KEVIN LEWIS

With the release of “Pig Hill”, I spoke with Kevin Lewis. In our conversation we talk about what makes pigs great for horror films and how he interpreted the pig creatures of the film. We also talk about the urban legend itself and some of the research Lewis did before shooting. ABOUT THE FILM

“Pig Hill” follows a young author who investigates the disappearance of local women in the community of Meadville, Pennsylvania, quickly be coming entwined in a strange local legend about the creatures that live on Pig Hill. The film is based on the Nancy William novel “Pig.”

The film stars Shane West, Rainey Qualley, Shiloh Fernandez, and R.A. Mihailoff. “Pig Hill” will be released on physical media on January 13, 2026. Then streaming on SCREAMBOX on March 10, 2026.
