“St. Denis Medical” has wrapped up its second season on NBC. If you need to catch up, both seasons are available on Peacock. The mockumentary series was created by Justin Spitzer and Eric Ledgin, who also previously collaborated on “Superstore” and “American Auto”. They have been successful at creating characters audiences want to invest their time in. A perfect example on “St. Denis Medical” are Serena and Matt played by Kahyun Kim and Mekki Leeper.

A CHAT WITH KAHYUN AND MEKKI

With the conclusion of the second season of St. Denis Medical, I had the opportunity to chat with Kim and Leeper about their roles. During the two seasons we have spent a lot of time rooting for them to get together. We talked about their opportunity to allow their relationship to build throughout the two seasons, and how they have felt the writing team as allowed their characters to flourish. It’s a great chat that you can find down below!
