Entering its third year of magical dealing in August, the trading card game Disney Lorcana has a lot to look forward to throughout 2026. With the eleventh through fourteenth expansions debuting in this family friendly tabletop, some new faces will now be in the cards. Of course, some old friends will be leaving the stage as well.

So as Ravensburger’s tribute to all things Disney continues into this new phase of life, you’re going to want to know what’s happening! While I may still be relatively fresh from my Lorcana origin story, I think I’ve got a pretty good handle on how things work. In the spirit of that observation, I proudly present everything we know about Disney Lorcana’s upcoming expansions; with some added fun for you theme park fans!

Epcot Festival of the Arts Exclusives –  Now, through February 23rd

Let’s start with a very special addition to this year’s festivities during Epcot’s Festival of the Arts! If you happen to be in the park before February 23rd, and want a quick and dirty intro to Disney Lorcana, this special scavenger hunt will be your guide!

The three variant promo cards you see pictured above will be your reward for completing three tasks – one of which is to buy the Arcazia’s Island Illumineer’s Trove. Reddit users are already sharing stories about how this very effective promotion seems to have won Lorcana newbies into the game. So prepare your heart, and your wallet, accordingly!

Expansion 11: WinterSpell

Release Dates: February 13th (Pre-release) / February 20th

WinterSpell, the eleventh expansion to Disney Lorcana, marks a pretty huge deviation from the norm. For the first time (at least as far as I can see), the standard pair of pre-made starter decks are not part of the deal. Meaning if you really want to get a leg up on collecting this winter wonderland, you’ll need to depend on packs and the Illumineer’s Trove.

Storywise, that vine that featured on the Whispers in the Well card “Hen Wen’s Vision” proved to be foreshadowing into this new Lorcana chapter. Despite Elsa’s best efforts, via her Frozen powers, this creeping menace could not be stopped – ushering in a snowy collection that ties in characters from Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Pocahontas, and Darkwing Duck!

Expansion 12: Wilds Unknown

Release Dates: May 8 (Prerelease) / May 15th

All we know about Wilds Unknown’s story at this point is that Lorcana’s vine problem is so massive, heroes made in CGI need to be introdued. Those vines do look to be thriving in the summer sun, don’t they? In terms of gameplay and merchandise, major changes are coming with Expansion 12’s offerings.

With the traditional starter decks returning in a 2-player friendly kit, getting into the game with friends will be even easier. Plus, similar to how Magic: The Gathering offers Prerelease Kits to plug a new set, Disney Lorcana is offering that very option for loyal fans. Perhaps the greatest shift, however, is the fact that Wilds Unknown is the set that introduces the world of Disney/Pixar into the fold!

Naturally two of the first franchises to take advantage of this door opening are The Incredibles and Toy Story; both of which will be in Disney Lorcana‘s 2 player starter set of the summer. Also, if you’re a fan of Brave or Goofy’s “Super Goof” persona, both characters are the focus of the two new playmats that will be sold at the time of this set’s release.

Expansion 13: Attack of the Vine

Release Dates: TBD Q3 (Presumably August) 2026

We’re really wandering into the weeds now, as Disney Lorcana’s plot details get even vaguer from here on out. (Not-so) spoiler alert: that Vine isn’t exactly shrinking in the face of our heroes. As Attack of the Vine continues the current story arc in this magical TCG, some new friends need to join the fray. Which means, more Disney/Pixar characters are on the way!

Before the recent title and key art reveal during January 2026’s special edition of the official Lorecast, we knew that Mei from Turning Red would be entering play. Let’s cross our fingers, in the hopes that some 4*Town inspired Song cards will be sung in Expansion 13! Also, after Attack of the Vine’s big title/art drop took place, we now know that Monsters Inc. is on deck to scare up some Lore as well.

Plus, if you look carefully in the background, the presence of Carl Fredrickson’s house from Up would indicate that those heroes and villains are fair game as well. Going out on a limb, I predict that we’re either going to get “Reckless” Dug card (similar to Gargoyles’ Bronx from the Whispers in the Well), or an action card named “Squirrel!” that gives a chosen character “Evasive” or “Rush” for a turn.

Miguel and Héctor float happily in the afterlife in the teaser art for Disney Lorcana - Expansion 14.

Expansion 14: Coco Comes To Lorcana!

Release Dates: TBD Q4 (Presumably November) 2026

Here’s where the predictions run out, Illumineers! We have very little details on the Q4 set coming to Disney Lorcana towards the end of the year. That doesn’t mean we can’t start dreaming up song cards, as Disney/Pixar’s Coco will take the stage for our final 2026 set debut. Although there’s one more possibility that might arise with the inclusion of that beautiful adventure between the land of the living and the dead.

As any TCG player knows, set rotations keep things fresh for official Core Constructed deck tournaments; with Disney Lorcana‘s first four sets of expansions already rotated out. That leaves only two ways you can play classic cards like “A Whole New World”: you either play in the Infinity Format (so long as the card isn’t banned outright), or you wait for cards to be reprinted in later sets.

Fabled, the ninth expansion to Lorcana, did just that – resurrecting (according to The Gamer’s contemporary reporting) 171 cards from the first four collections. That fact brings us to the final subject at hand, in the midst of this whole new world of Glimmers…

Lorcana’s 2026 Deck Rotation

Since we’re talking about official Core Constructed deck rotations, that yearly purge is about to wipe out the four sets from Lorcana Year 2. Using the established timeline as a benchmark, Attack of the Vine’s debut this summer should rotate out Expansions Five (Shimmering Skies) through Eight (The Reign of Jafar). Unless Ravensburger somehow decides to break tradition, in the name of using Coco’s thematic ties as a narrative device for returning cards.

Again, that means everything not reprinted from Year 2’s expansions will be banished to the Infinity decks. With that, you’ll want to pay close attention to any official announcements of deck rotation, as well peruse the updated Comprehensive Rules doc, over at the official Disney Lorcana Resources page.

Still with me, Illumineers? Good, because that means we’re done with this rundown of Lorcana’s 2026 release schedule! So feel free to quest out, and have a magical day!
