Movies in 2026 have already become a major topic of conversation among friends, colleagues, and, of course, the THS team. To figure out which films we’re actually most excited to see, we polled all of our writers and correspondents, asking each of them to submit ranked lists of the releases they can’t wait to watch.
From there, we applied a weighted scoring system so that the movies at the top of each list carried extra influence, balancing personal passion with the collective enthusiasm of the entire staff.
The final ranking reflects the films that have everyone buzzing that THS can’t wait to stream, queue, or binge in the year ahead.
