Enjoy some seasonal fun and give back to the community while you do it. Saturday Morning Cartoons United™ and Nostalgic Nebula are teaming up for a special charity screening of Pee-wee’s Playhouse Christmas Special.

The one-day only event will take place at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, CA on Saturday December 27. The experience aims to blend an immersive fan experience with enjoying Saturday morning cartoons in your PJs. Fans can enjoy:

  • Live music and entertainment from DJ Shepard Fairey and the iconic Bob Baker Marionette Theatre before the screening.
  • A holiday concert by Tom Kenny & The Hi-Seas led by Spongebob Squarepants voice actor Tom Kenny, with additional surprise guests, after the screening.
  • Interactive moments and photo ops.
  • A special pop-up store featuring Pee-wee collections by NECA and Kidrobot.

Every ticket and item sold during the event will support two causes. The first, AnimAID, provides aid to animation professionals affected by the California wildfires. The second, Saturday Morning Cartoons United™, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit screening series celebrating legacy animation with a mission to uplift the creative arts community.
