Get your quarters ready! We just got our first-look at the new “Street Fighter” live-action feature film from Paramount Pictures and Legendary Pictures. Some of your favorite fighters you used to settle disputes at the arcade are coming to the big screen. At “The Game Awards” in Los Angeles, attendees were treated to the first sneak-peek of the film, along with 13 of the stars, who are bringing the fighters to life. Check it out below!
The “Street Fighter” teaser is set to “Punk Tactics” by Joey Valence and Brae. Somehow in about 40 seconds its able to showcase so many of the characters featured in the film. It even manages to include a snip of the Car Smash Bonus Stage. By the looks of some of the characters like Guile or Dhalsim, the film is going to stay true to the fighter’s over-the-top styles we remember from the games.
