Disneyland Resort is about to get in the Avengers spirit. Finally the all-new Avengers Campus, the old location of the Bug’s Life land, has it’s opening date.
Avengers Campus will be opening on July 18th. This brand-new area will transport Disneyland guests into the world of The Avengers. From the first Spider-Man ride in the Disney Parks, to an Ant-Man themed restaurant, and even Doctor Strange-themed decor, this land will a dream come true for Marvel Fans.
The New Spider-Man Ride
To begin with, let’s start off with the Spider-Man ride. The ride is officially called WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. This all-new ride will take you into the world of Spider-Man.
Disney Parks Blog gave this description of the ride:
The mission: team up with Spidey and help capture the out-of-control Spider-Bots before they wreak havoc on the Campus. During an open house at WEB, you will be asked to wear 3D glasses and test drive their latest invention, the WEB Slinger vehicle, which allows you to sling webs like Spider-Man. The attraction will give you a taste of what it’s like to have actual super powers as you help Spider-Man collect Spider-Bots that have run amok!
And on top of all this, Tom Holland would be voicing Spider-Man in this ride.
Shop At WEB Suppliers
WEB Suppliers is where guests will be able to purchase all kinds of WEB Inventions. One of those inventions is the Spider-Bots, which you will meet on the Spider-Man ride.
Across the way will be the Campus Supply Store. Inside there, you will be able to purchase items like performance fleece hoodies and tees, headwear, drinkware, and various other Super Hero supplies.
Pym Test Kitchen
For fans of the Ant-Man films, Pym Test Kitchen is perfect for you. This restaurant will be serving different size portions of all different dishes. Highlights include the Impossible™ plant-based large and micro meatballs with pasta or the “Pym-ini,” which is a panini served by the slice or as a long, multi-portion sandwich.
In Addition, the other dining option will be the Pym Testing Lab. This will have a wide selection of adult beverages.
Guardians And Doctor Strange
Two other massive things coming with Avengers Campus are one Disneyland continuing to celebrate Guardians Of The Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT!, which will be in the area of Avengers Campus.
Within the land, heroes like Iron Man, Black Panther, The Dora Milaje, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Guardians Of The Galaxy, and even Loki will be in the area for guests to interact with.
Now at night, the area will light up with Doctor Strange-inspired decor hanging in the trees.
