The undeniable magnetism between Batman and Catwoman has been one of comics’ most reliable constants: wherever Catwoman goes, Batman is sure to follow, if only to take her down.”DC Press Release
Catwoman One-Shot: The Look of the Cat
Catwoman has sure changed over the decades. her roles as well as her outfits changed throughout the decades. Being a special issue, it will of course have a multitude of covers, one for each decade in fact. Take a look below at these awesome covers:
Looking these covers over, it’s fascinating to see how Catwoman changed over the decades. She transformed from sexy elegant, to overly sexualized, to realistic and functional. Her skill set and sense of right and wrong changed as well. Add this ambiguity to her growing relationship with Bruce Wayne/Batman, and Catwoman continues to be one of the most popular anti-heroes/off-heroes in comics.
Catwoman One-Shot: Moving Forward
This is a great time to be a Catwoman fan. Not only do we get to celebrate her 80 years, but her future looks to be coming to a head. Selina nearly tied the know with Wayne, which would make an interesting couple. Of course things fell through, and that failure haunts both Bruce and Selina ever since. Some rumors indicate things may not be over between the two.
The Catwoman One-shot releases April 15th and will retail for $9.99. Be sure to check your local comic shops and check back here at Thathashtagshow.com for more information.
