“Murder at the Embassy” from Lionsgate is in theaters and on-demand and digital November 14. The film is a classic murder-mystery feature film that sees the return of Mischa Barton as Miranda Green in the 2023 film “Invitation to Murder”. Her next case will take her to Cairo, Egypt as someone is killed in at the British Embassy. This case needs to be be handled gently and quietly as the stakes are high. The film is directed by Stephen Shimek.
CHATTING WITH MIDO HAMADA
With the release of “Murder at the Embassy”, I spoke with actor Mido Hamada. He plays Mamoud, who is in charge of security at the British Embassy in the film. In our conversation, we talked about his character his friction with Barton’s character. This due to the fact that someone has been killed under his watch, and he is now being bossed around by Miranda. We also chat about operating in a “grey” area to keep audiences guessing on his character’s guilt or innocence. Finally, Hamada shares with us his experience filming in Egypt and how that affected his performance. Its a great conversation that you can check out below!
