Nintendo just dropped the first look at the Legend of Zelda movie on social media. Bo Bragason is inspired by the curious version of the Hylian princess from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In addition, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth brings silent resolve as the hero, Link. The new images are nothing short of breathtaking, check them out down below!
“This is [Shigeru] Miyamoto. We have officially begun filming the live-action movie adaptation of “The Legend of Zelda” in the magnificent great outdoors, together with Bo Bragason, who plays Zelda, and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, who plays Link,” the beloved game designer wrote. “The filming is progressing smoothly, so I would appreciate it if you could quietly watch over us. The theatrical release is scheduled for May 7, 2027. Please wait just a little longer.”
He would add, “This is Miyamoto. Filming is underway for the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda in a lush, natural setting, with Bo Bragason-san who will play Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth-san who will play Link (1/2).”
