Crunchyroll Anime Nights is a theatrical experience that’s, as you might guess, all about anime. Typically, this experience is about the latest anime films incoming from Japan, after having been localized, of course. However, Crunchyroll appear to be doing something a bit different this time. Something that’s gives us a peek into what they plan to stream in the near-future. Something that you might be able to guess from the title of today’s story.
Crunchyroll is proud to announce that tickets for Crunchyroll Anime Nights SNEAK PEEK are now on sale. This particular Anime Nights event will feature “never-before-seen episodes of upcoming anime series before they debut on Crunchyroll in January 2026”. With all of those episodes being in Japanese audio with English subtitles, of course.
Crunchyroll Anime Nights SNEAK PEEK will make its theatrical debut on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 7PM (local time). You can purchase tickets for it right now in the U.S. and in Canada (Cineplex and Landmark).

Honestly, this is an unusual move from Crunchyroll. It feels like they want to drum up hype for some specific anime series a month before they stream with this Crunchyroll Anime Nights SNEAK PEEK. Funnily enough, this is very similar to the press screenings Crunchyroll does just before anime seasons, just on a much larger scale now, and monetized with the ticket sales, of course. Maybe those press screenings made Crunchyroll realize that early hype for anime series causes viewership numbers to go up dramatically? With the ticket sales also generating revenue for them on top of that? Alas, this is all speculation unless Crunchyroll comments on it. Take it with a grain of salt until then.
