The 2018 remake of God of War is perhaps one of the best remakes of a video game franchise in history. All because it took an absurdly violent and grossly immature video game franchise, and then made it into a deeply emotional journey of parenthood for Kratos and his son Atreus amidst the sins of the past. Thus, it’s the perfect video game to adapt into a TV series. Which means a cast to play the characters in it, and now, we have someone who’s part of that cast.
Deadline has just reported that Teresa Palmer has just joined the growing cast of Amazon Prime’s God of War TV series. Palmer will play Phoebe/Sif, who in Norse mythology, is Thor’s wife and a goddess of fertility and family. She will be joining the cast alongside Ryan Hurst, who will be playing Kratos: the god of war himself.
Alas, we don’t have anything like a release date for this upcoming God of War TV series. We don’t even have a release window yet. We’ll just have to wait for Amazon Prime to tell us that at a later date.

Teresa Palmer Joins Cast of God of War as Phoebe/Sif
More cast joining up for this God of War TV series is good news. It means a greater chance that this TV series will be happening instead of being left to wither away in production. As for Teresa Palmer herself? Her roles in various TV series and films have been quite diverse, having played mostly in drama, fantasy, and horror films such as Warm Bodies, Hacksaw Ridge, Berlin Syndrome, and A Discovery of Witches. It’s the perfect combination of genres for her to play a central character in the God of War remake, which includes all of the above genres. Now we just wait to see if she lives up to that role…whenever we get to see this TV series.
