Project Hail Mary is certainly shaping up to be an event at the movies. The new film stars Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace, who is the only one left on a mission to deep space to try and save our sun (and other stars). He wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.
It was directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller with a script from Drew Goddard based on the novel by Andy Weir. Amazon MGM Studios has released two new videos of the movie, one is a clip from the movie where Grace meets an unexpected visitor and a featurette going behind-the-scenes on the film. Project Hail Mary releases in theaters on March 20th.
